The plane is the second safest vehicle after the lift. But this knowledge will not help you with your fear of flying. It is instinctive, against all reason. Fear of flying therapy can help when other ways fail.
What to do in case of fear of flying?
For people who fly only occasionally, once-off medication can be a good and easy solution. Discuss this with your GP.
Our national airport in Zaventem is organising a two-day course against fear of flying. Participants receive information and take part in a real test flight.
Simply put, there are two treatment methods for fear of flying:
- A first one provides you with information about fear of flying, teaches you relaxation exercises and then confronts you with those fears in vivo.
- A second, which is what Psychologist Practice stands for, is trying to understand that fear.
