What to expect?

Determining ADHD/ADD requires a careful diagnosisYou may suspect that you have ADD or ADHD symptoms based on what you have read or heard. However, AD(H)D testing/ADD assessment is carried out by a psychologist, neurologist or psychiatrist.

What does the AD(H)D assessment involve?

ADHD/ADD characteristics are assessed. in the various areas of your life, from foetus to present, at work, in your relationship, family and in the wider social context. In addition, we will focus on the beginning and further course of your characteristics of ADHD/ADDHow did the symptoms manifest themselves in childhood, during adolescence, and during adulthood?

We conduct research on adults aged 18 and above. School reports (and other information from school) are always important, both for the results and for the behavioural descriptions. So please bring them with you or review them thoroughly yourself beforehand. We would like the partner to be present.

ADHD research: concrete

If ADHD/ADD is suspected, you will be clinically questioned in our ADHD/ADD centre of expertise.At the end of the examination, after two hours or slightly longer, we will inform you of the results. If the diagnosis is positive, we will provide brief treatment advice and you will receive our free , comprehensive and detailed treatment programme when you submit the questionnaire. You can continue to follow this programme online at home. There is the option of receiving further (paid) guidance from a colleague at the practice.

Complaints other than concentration problems often occur together with ADHD/ADD. These are often overlooked or confused with ADHD. We will investigate this for you.
